Sending handouts from the Shaman App

You can share handouts in two different ways: right after ending the presentation or directly from the menu options.

1. After ending the presentation

Return to the navigation screen, then tap ‘End’ in the upper right corner. The handout options will appear in the next window.

2. From the menu options

Select “Share” in the menu options of the presentation you would like to send in the handout.

iPad/Windows tablet:

How to fill in handouts?

The fields that you need to fill in a handout may vary based on how your content owner sets up the handout settings, and the process is different depending on whether you work with an iPad or a Windows tablet.

1. Medium

iPad:
You can select between sharing the presentation as an Online Handout or a PDF file.

Online handouts can be opened via the URL and appear in the web browser. This way, the structure of the story remains the same as the Shaman App. The receiver will be able to navigate both horizontally and vertically through the slides.

If you send the presentation as a PDF, it will be sent as an attachment to the email. This version is a linear presentation.

2. Include

You can select which presentations (if you have used several ones) and which parts of the story line will be shared with the client. It is possible to share only the viewed slides, the main story line, both or all slides.

3. Name

In this field, you can enter the name of the receivers. Separate each name by a comma. When you send the email, the names appear replacing the [name] tag. This field is only visible if you send an Online Handout.

4. Message

You can personalize the handout even more by changing the default text. This message will be seen by your clients when they receive the email.

An Online Handout will be available by visiting the URL in the message. To personalize the text of the URL, change the “handout” text between the round brackets.

5. Send

After filling in all fields, you can click “Share”. In the next window, you can add the recipient’s email address and send the email.

Windows / Mac:

1. Medium

Using a Windows device you can only send online handouts. This is option is set by default.

2. Name recipient

In this field, you can enter the name of the receivers. Separate each name by a comma. When you send the email, the names appear in the greeting.

3. Include

You can select which presentations (if you have used several ones) and which parts of the storyline will be shared with the client. It is possible to share only the viewed slides, the main storyline, both or all slides.

4. Message

On the next page, you will see the default email message. You can also personalize this message. Click “Create an email” and let the email client open. Now you can change the text within the email client and send it.

5. Send

After setting up all options, you can click “Finish”. The online handout will be sent to the recipient’s email address.
