You can create presentations in which you wish to add the same link to multiple slides multiple times. Linking a business logo to the website for example, or a home-icon to the main menu.

You can use a link template instead of creating the links one by one, and assign it to several slides. This way a link will be added to each slide you select with the same destination and position.

Presentation → Edit presentation → Create new template

Go to a presentation, and click "Edit" on one of the slides where you want to add a link template. Find the template icon above the presentation canvas

in the top-right corner, then click “Create new template”.

Enter the template name in the pop-up window, then click “Save”. A yellow bar should appear at the top of the screen. As long as this bar is visible, the template can be edited.

Presentation → Edit presentation → Add → Links

You can now add the link, and set the destination you choose. . The link will take the exact same position on every slide what you add to the template. Once everything is set, click “Done” on the yellow bar above.

3. Assign the slides

Presentation → Settings → Link templates

In order to add the template to more slides, you need to go back to the slide overview in the presentation. Just click on the “Back” icon (arrow pointing left).

From the slide overview, select “Settings” and then “Link templates”. In this menu you can see a list of all link templates you created for this presentation.

You have the following options:

  • Assign the link template

  • Edit the link template

  • Delete the link template

Click on “Assign” and assign the template to the slides you like. It is possible to assign it to a whole column by one click, just select the check mark on the top of the column.

Click on “Save” when you are done.

When you click "Edit", you can make changes to the link template that will reflect on all the pages that have that template.
