When your presentation is ready, you can export it to Veeva. This article assumes we have set-up the Multichannel option in your account.

  • If you are using the Veeva API connection, please read this article.

  • If you have an internal digital factory, you can create a ticket with the output of these steps

  • If you have a central person in the organisation that manages the sync process, please reach out to that person. Add the url of the presentation (copy paste it when you are in the presentation) in the email to inform your contact person.

When you are in doubt, please connect with your internal Veeva specialist or reach out to Shaman support.

These are the steps to do the export.

1. Do a final preview

You might want to check if every works the way it should. Select 'preview' in the left side bar and walk through the structure and links to do a final check.

2. Publish the presentation

The first step is to click 'publish' in the left side menu bar. ShamanGo will now check if all information is set correctly, like links and Veeva information. If all is fine, you will see the logs of all previous exports. Click publish in the top right corner to continue.

3. Select export type

Now you select to sync with Veeva. Click publish in the top right corner.

ShamanGo will now convert to html and create all zip files.

Per key message ShamanGo will:

  • convert to html

  • add rendition file

  • zip the package

  • create key message in Veeva Vault (draft state), with all required data including the key message name

  • link to shared resource file

After 5 minutes (depending on the number of slides) you will receive an email with a link to a download package.

This package includes:

  • One zip file per key message (slide)

  • A zip file of the shared resource file

  • A CSV file with metadata that can be used to do a bulk upload in Vault

You can forward the package to your internal Vault colleague or do the upload yourself. Steps to upload in Vault:

  • Download the package using the link in your email

  • Unzip the main package folder (not the individual key message zips)

  • Login into your Vault account

  • Select Multichannel Loader in the top menu

  • Upload the CSV file

  • Vault will analyse the CSV file and is expecting now all the other zips

  • Upload all the zips in one bulk upload

  • Now Vault will convert all the information and send you an email once done. Leave your browser open during the conversion process.
