With Shaman you can share a handout of discussed content immediately after your meeting. This is a valuable source of information for your participants and can also be used as a reference point for the key points addressed during the presentation.

This feature is only visible when enabled in your account.

Sending a handout after the meeting

After you ended the remote meeting, you have the option to create and send a handout. In the meeting overview, you see a summary of the meeting.

If you want to create a handout choose the right settings. If you do not want to generate a handout, just toggle 'create handout' to no.

If you want to share a handout you have two (medium) options:

  • Online handout: generate a personalized webpage (URL) that remains all functionality like links, videos, multi-states

  • PDF handout: generate a PDF document of the slides. In this case, you will receive an email with the PDF handout attached, which will have a linear structure

Select the preferred medium. NB: depending on your company settings, these options might be limited to one medium.

Create an online handout
When you select Online handout you have the following options:

  • Name recipient: when the participant opens the handout URL, he will see a welcome message from you including his or her own name

  • Multiple presentations: in case you have presented multiple presentations you can select if you want to offer these separately (the handout page will have links to these different meetings) or you can combine them. This usually depends on the presentations: do you want to present them jointly or separately?

  • Include: now you can select which presentations you presented you also want to include in the handout. Per presentation, you can determine the slide selection that you like to have included. (NB: the content owner might have selected slides to always add (like a cover, disclaimer) or never add (like sensitive information)

When ready, you click the button top right to create the online handout.

Create a PDF handout
When you select PDF handout you have the following options:

  • Multiple presentations: in case you have presented multiple presentations you can select if you want to offer these as separate PDFs or you can combine them into one PDF.

When ready, click the button top right to create the PDF handout.

Share the handout

If you created an online handout
You will see a message constructed from the Shaman default text including name and dynamic link. You can copy-paste this into your own email, customize it and send it out.

If you created a PDF handout
You will receive an email from Shaman with the PDF attached. Also, you will see a link pointing to the PDF handout which you can copy-paste to email or download.
