Summary
Shaman Connect offers both content teams and the field force new and exciting ways to tailor detail aids for each and every meeting with an HCP.
The field force will now be able to access the Connect Menu with features such as a more extensive overview of the material they are presenting, the ability to select from their most recent or most used slides, and being able to create their own selections of slides within a detail aid in, to mention a few.
Configuration
Once you have finished creating your detail aid in Shaman, enabling Shaman Connect could not be easier. You need to click the Shaman Connect 'Menu' tab from the overview section of your detail aid.
You will see the first option you have available in the list of General settings, which is to enable Shaman Connect for this presentation in Veeva CRM. If you wish to activate Shaman Connect for the field force for this detail aid, just click ‘Yes’ to activate.
You can then customize the following ‘General’ settings:
Position - you can choose where you want the Shaman Connect icon to appear when presenting in Veeva CRM. (We recommend a position setting in the bottom left corner).
Primary color - You can customize the color of the Shaman Connect menu according to your brand colors by selecting from this dropdown menu.
Navigation bar color - you can also customize the navigation bar color by using this dropdown menu. If you do not see colors available within the dropdown menus that you would like to use, get in touch with support@getshaman.com.
Once you have configured the position and colors, you may proceed to select which features you would like to enable. Once done, click "Done" in the top right corner. After your next sync, the Shaman Connect menu will be added to your detail aid.
Note: some of these features need to be configured before syncing to Veeva. These features will have a 'Settings' button next to them and will warn you that they have not yet been configured.
Features
Here is where it gets really interesting! You have the option to activate the following features within Shaman Connect. To find out more information about each of these features, click on the corresponding links below.
Overview - Locate specific content easily and navigate through the detail aid with the help of the new overview tab.
Recently viewed - By visiting the “Recent” tab, the presenter can easily re-visit a slide that was recently discussed, as well as easily access their favorite content.
My Slide Selections - My slide selections grant full control over the content they present to the field teams. This feature allows the end-users to create their very own selections of slides, that they can seamlessly jump between during the sales call.
Brand Stories - Take control of the narrative and ensure that your Brand Stories are told exactly the way you intended.
Prepare Email - Relevant follow-up emails at your fingertips, with email content suggestions for selected slides.
Prepare - Make the most out of the time you have together with the HCP by preparing your meeting in advance.
