My name is Yochan Jung and I´m a Digital Manager at SO & Company (based in Seoul, Korea). My role consists of creating both CLM and approved email content.
Could you tell us how you managed the content creation and upload to Veeva Vault process before you started using Shaman? What was the biggest difference you noticed when you started using Shaman?
We don't have any professional developers on staff, so we outsourced all of our content creation to a company that specializes in coding. Of course, they worked with us on all of our projects very well, but there was always the issue of time since they weren't using a tool such as Shaman. In this respect, we were at a crossroads between the speed of Shaman and the delicacy of outsourcing, and we are now using Shaman heavily.

What do you like most about Shaman?
The best part about Shaman is that you can create Approved Emails and CLMs simply by dragging and dropping, without any coding knowledge. This saves time in two ways: you don't need to spend time training on coding knowledge, and you can work on many projects in a short amount of time.
Could you share a handy tip with us from your experience using Shaman?
If you don't understand a feature or are stuck on some issue, don't hesitate to contact Shaman Chat Support. They are super friendly and can help you with all your questions as much as possible.
What is your favorite feature for CLMs and why?
My favorite feature for CLMs is Link Template. You can only apply one Link Template to a slide, but you can create as many as you like and insert them on the appropriate pages. This speeds things up dramatically.
What would be your best tips for CLM in Shaman?
A practical tip is to set up a link template that should be inserted on all or most slides before working with links on individual pages.
What is your favorite feature in the Email Builder and why?
My favorite feature in Email is "Do not stack on Mobile". Shaman provides a convenient way to view and modify how an Email Template or Email Fragment looks on PC and Mobile. "Do not stack on Mobile" is an easy way to control how that block appears in a mobile environment.
Do you have a Shaman feature you use that none of your colleagues know about?
I want everyone on my team to be good at Shaman, so I share all the methods I use with them.
Do you work with different content per customer segment or persona? If so, how do you tackle that?
We conduct in-depth kick-off meetings with clients to discuss strategy and market conditions before digitizing content. This allows us to design responsive content for different HCP segments. In conclusion, a deep understanding of the customer and market conditions is a must upfront, and it allows us to create customized content.
Have you noticed any difference in the happiness and performance of your field force since you started using Shaman?
Yes, our team has been pleased with how efficiently we've been able to create CLM and AE content with Shaman.
Do you think our Help Center is a useful resource? If so, which articles would be on your must-read list?
I think I read most about the capabilities of interaction elements when the interaction element was first updated. I wanted to create an effective CLM using the interaction element, and Maurice's introduction to it is one of my favorite videos.
Looking to the future
What handy features do you think are currently missing from Shaman?
Would be great if the Animate Element would have the ability to Reveal or Move in the up and down directions.
