We are delighted to present to you our Shaman Hero for the month of October -

Yuriy Ryabikin, IT Manager Eurasia at Bionorica based in Ukraine.

Yuriy is a seasoned IT Manager with extensive experience creating both CLM and Approved Email content in the Life Sciences industry. Yuriy has been an integral part of the collaboration between Shaman and Bionorica. Here at Shaman we greatly admire his practical approach and professionalism, so we are very excited to learn more from his hands-on experience using our tool!

My name is Yuriy Ryabikin and I´m an IT Manager (Eurasia) at Bionorica. My role mainly consists of content creation for both CLMs and Approved Emails.

I´m based in Ukraine.

Could you tell us how you managed the content creation and upload to Veeva Vault (or OnCore Vault) process before you started using Shaman? What was the biggest difference you noticed when you started using Shaman?

Before it was hell, with Shaman it's just a couple of clicks.

Have you noticed any difference in the happiness and performance of your field force since you started using Shaman?

After I've published content from Shaman to Veeva for the first time, during the first hours I received a lot of thankful messages from field force users. I didn't expect such a great reaction. I believe this is the best evaluation of the Shaman.

What do you like most about Shaman?

Really great support, intuitive interface and the direct integration with Veeva Vault.

How easy was it to start using Shaman?

How easy is it to create and update content in Shaman?

How fast is it to create and update content in Shaman?

How likely are you to recommend Shaman to other colleagues?

Do you have a Shaman feature you use that none of your colleagues know about?

I usually share all my knowledge with international colleagues. But there are three "secret" features nobody uses except me: "Forgot your password" link during login, "Start chat with support" and "Help center".

Could you share a handy tip with us from your experience using Shaman?

Do not be afraid to start creating content!

Can you give your colleagues a tip on how you speed up email creation?

Much easier with design templates!

Do you work with different content per customer segment or persona? If so, how do you tackle that?

On the first slide of CLM we have links to different places in the content based on the client's individuality.

What would be your best tips for CLM in Shaman?

A clickable area on the slide must be understandable for the user so that he/she knows they must click exactly this place.

Could you tell us about a challenge that you were able to overcome using the features in Shaman?

Decreasing the amount of CLM materials during a call, fast content search, and comfortable navigation over the CLM.

Do you think our Help Center is a useful resource? If so, which articles would be on your must-read list?

Very helpful! The link to the Help Center must be on the main page, it will increase visiting :)

As a top user, you must have met our support team by now. How has your experience been contacting them since you started using Shaman?

Honestly saying, this is the first support team I like to cooperate with: fast and productive, nothing to add.

Looking to the future

What handy features do you think are currently missing from Shaman?

User management - split users by countries in the list (could be by tags), see "last login time".

The human behind the hero

What is your dream vacation destination?

The place where the Bounty promotion took place.

What do you like to do when you´re not creating content?

I still like playing computer games, but my wife does not share my hobbies with me (does not allow it).

Tell us about a podcast, training course or ted talk that you could recommend to colleagues who do the same job as you?

Not connected to my job, but I was and am under the impression after this: "3 things I learned while my plane crashed - Ric Elias".
