As 2023 draws to a close, we are delighted to present the last edition of this years Shaman Hero series!

We would like to thank every single one of the Shaman Hero´s who have shared their experience, knowledge and time so generously with us this year. We hope you have enjoyed learning about their workflow processes in Shaman as much as we have.

So without further ado, we are excited to introduce to you our Shaman Hero for the month of December - Gisela Grames, Digital Portfolio Manager and Brand Manager of Neurology Switzerland and Austria at Almirall.

Gisela has 1-4 years of experience with both creating and managing strategic content creation for Approved Emails in the Life Sciences industry. We are very excited to hear her take on executing brand management objectives with Shaman!


My name is Gisela Grames and I´m a Digital Portfolio Manager and Brand Manager of Neurology CH + AT at Almirall.

My role mainly consists of content creation of Approved Emails.

How easy was it to start using Shaman?

How likely are you to recommend Shaman to other colleagues?

How easy is it to create and update content in Shaman?

How fast is it to create and update content in Shaman?

What do you like most about Shaman?

The easy and user friendly way of working. Shaman is very self-explanatory, but if you do run into any issue, the Shaman support reacts extremely quickly - I cannot compare that to any other previous IT support.

Could you share a handy tip about creating email content from your experience using Shaman?

Keep it short and simple, the most important content should be in the first third of the email. And ideally, don't include more than 2 action items in an email .

Can you give your colleagues a tip on how you speed up email creation?

Working with design and email templates, and using the "Duplicate" option really makes your life easier.

What is the feature you most use in Shaman and why?

I would say the tool which allows you to create individual, pre-created blocks, alongside the duplicate function. I create content for two countries and in three different languages, so this saves me a lot of time.

Have you noticed any difference in the happiness and performance of your field force since you started using Shaman?

We can include a lot of automatic tokens and drop down options, which makes it easier for our field force to personalize email content before sending.

As a top user you must have met our support team by now. How has your experience been contacting them since you started using Shaman?

Really good! They help really fast and it is easy and helpful setting up short calls with them to discuss features, as well as giving input for our daily work.

Looking to the future

What will be the focus of multichannel content in your team in the next 12 months?

Creating the way from multichannel to omnichannel, focussing on even more personalized content.
