Overview

Multiple Subject Lines and Preheaders allow you to create and manage several subject lines and pre header options directly from your Email Template Overview page within Shaman for both Approved Email and Marketing Email content.

This functionality provides more flexibility when testing or personalising your email content.

Creating multiple Subject lines and Pre headers

From the Overview page, you can now add, edit, or remove multiple Subject lines and Pre header options.

To add more than one option, click "Add option" under the Subject Line or Pre header fields.

Each new entry will appear in a list where you can manage all your options.

Good to know!

If you wish to remove an additional subject line or preheader, simply click the delete (🗑) icon beside it.

How the values are exported

For Approved Email Templates

When syncing an Approved Email template from Shaman to Veeva Vault PromoMats (VVPM) that contains multiple subject lines or preheaders, the entered values will be automatically added to a custom text dropdown token. The token provides a picklist dropdown with the values you entered, allowing the sales reps to select the preferred option before sending the approved email from your CRM environment.

For preheaders, a script is included that reveals the picklist when sending the Email from Veeva CRM, and hides the preheader section again once the Email has been sent out so that the text is not visible in the Email body.

For Marketing Email Templates

When exporting a Marketing Email template with multiple subject lines or preheaders, all available options are automatically included in the Upload Instructions document generated at export.

This ensures that each variation is clearly listed and ready to be referenced or implemented during the upload process.
