Summary
This much-requested feature hands over full control of the content being presented to the end-user. The presenter can create their very own selections of slides for each presentation and seamlessly jump between selections during the sales call.
There is no limit to the number of selections that can be created, and any existing selections can be modified or deleted in a matter of clicks. The presenter has complete control over what content is included in their selections, which are completely unique to them.
Configuration
My slide selections are created and maintained by the end-users directly in the presentation. This means that only the initial setup needs to be done in the ShamanGo CMS system. Once the feature is enabled and the presentation has been synced, the presenters can begin creating their own selections.
When enabling the feature, you can select which functionalities you want to enable. If you are using My Slide Selections on its own, users will only be able to add individual slides. If paired together with Brand Stories, you can allow the user to add entire stories as part of their selections.

Navigating a slide selection
Creating a new slide selection
After clicking on the 'Slide collections' tab on the left-hand side of the menu, the presenter will see a list of their existing selections available for them to use. If they have not yet created a selection, or wish to add a new selection, they can do so by clicking the ‘New’ button at the top of the overview.
They will be prompted to enter a name for their selection, once they are happy with the name, click ‘Create’. The new selection will then appear in the list of selections, with the number of slides as 0. To add slides to the selection, tap on the name of the newly created selection in the list. By clicking on the ‘Add’ button at the top of the slide selections area, the presenter will be redirected to an overview of the entire presentation.
They can now navigate through the presentation to find the slides that they wish to add to the selection by simply clicking on their chosen slides. A green border and tick icon are added to the selected slides to signify that they have been selected. The presenter may continue navigating and selecting multiple slides for their selection.
Once happy with the selected slides, click ‘Add X number of slides’ at the top of the overview. The presenter will then be able to view their selected slides in list form. To go back to the collections overview, click the return arrow in the upper right corner of the page.
Adding Brand Stories to a selection
If My Slide Selections is being used together with Brand Stories, and 'Add Stories' has been toggled on in the CMS settings, the user can also add one or more stories to a selection. The stories will show in their own view under the heart icon and can be added to a selection in combination with other Brand Stories or individual slides.
Editing a slide selection
On the editing page, the end-user can change the order of the slides by using the arrow icons on the right-hand side of the slide, as well as the bin icon to delete any individual slides that are no longer needed. If one wishes to add more slides to a selection, it can be done via the 'Add' button. In order to clear the selection, use the 'Remove all' button to delete all slides at once.
To delete an entire selection, click the corresponding bin icon on the slide collections overview page.
Presenting a selection via module
Once a presenter has created one or more selections, they will be ready to start presenting. The next time they open the presentation, they will be greeted by a module offering them easy access to their created selections. Simply click the name of the selection to present in the list, and the module will begin the presentation directly on the first slide. Once the presenter has swept through the entire selection, the module will show up again, giving them the opportunity to switch to another selection.
In order to present the full presentation, rather than a selection, the presenter can click 'Full presentation'. If they wish to open the Connect menu, click 'Open menu'.

Stop presenting your selection
In order to stop presenting, the presenter may do so by opening the Connect menu. When opening the Connect menu during a presentation, the user will be taken to the edit page of the selection, where they will be given the option to either 'Stop' or 'Resume' in the upper right-hand corner.
The slide which is currently being presented will be highlighted in green, and the user may also navigate to another slide in their selection from this page by clicking the thumbnail.
Navigating a selection - progress bar
When presenting a selection, a small progress bar will be added to the bottom of the slide. This bar comes with a few different functions that can support the user during the presentation.
Firstly, it works as a progress bar. This provides an easy overview of where the presenter is in the selection, and how many slides are remaining. As they progress through the selection, the bar will gradually start to fill. Once the bar is completely filled-out, it signifies that the last slide has been reached.
Secondly, it offers a navigation view for the selection. When clicking the bar, a swimlane will open that shows all the slides available in the current selection. The presenter can easily navigate to another slide by tapping the thumbnail.
Navigating a selection - links
All links that have been added to the presentation in ShamanGo will be maintained, and fully functional. This means that the presenter can always navigate to any other part of the presentation using the links that have been set up, even when presenting a slide selection.
When navigating to a slide that is not part of the selection while presenting, the destination slide will have a small back arrow added to the bottom-right corner. When clicking this arrow, the user will be taken back to the last visited slide of the selection.
