We are delighted to present to you our Shaman Hero for the month of April -

Luca Matarazzo, Digital Marketing Officer at Servier (Belgium).

Luca is a seasoned Digital Manager with 3-9 years of experience creating both CLM and Approved Email content in the Life Sciences industry. He has been an extremely active user of Shaman, so we can not wait to hear his tricks of the trade!

My name is Luca Matarazzo and I'm a Digital Marketing Officer at Servier. My role consists of managing content creation for both CLMs and Approved Email.

What swayed you to choose our product?

The sheer facility to be able to create, manage and synchronize content to Veeva Vault. Based on what we were using before, it was a no-brainer.

How has our product and services improved your workflow or made your job easier?

We now have full control on our approved emails workflow. From planning to live in CRM, it can take up to a few days to have the whole process completed; it used to be weeks. Visual aids have also been impacted massively by the flexibility offered by Shaman!

Barring the actual visuals creation (which for now we still rely on third parties), we have been able to cut several WEEKS to the process of having visual aids in the hands of our Reps, saving us tens of thousands of euros in agency fees per year.

How much cost did you save using Shaman?

How would you rate the overall quality of Shaman?

How easy was it to start using Shaman?

How easy and fast is it to create and update content in Shaman?

How likely are you to recommend Shaman to other colleagues?

What do you like most about Shaman?

The ability to just create, not thinking about "what am I doing wrong/breaking" when using the software.

Do you have a Shaman feature you use that none of your colleagues know about?

Smart Update for multiple languages! Although it's not an "actual" feature, we were able to work with the support team and make it a breeze to create a copy of an already finished visual aid in another language without losing links, menus etc.

Do you think our Help Center is a useful resource? If so, which articles would be on your must-read list?

Absolutely. The articles are very clear, and when questions pop up, an actual person is not far away to answer them!

As a top user, you must have met our support team by now. How has your experience been contacting them since you started using Shaman?

Nothing short of stellar! Fast replies, always to the point and friendly! An all-star team of people.

Looking to the future

What handy features do you think are currently missing from Shaman or you would like to be improved?

"Out of the box" localization would be great!

How do you see the Pharma industry in the future in terms of Omni-channel and HCP interaction?

More and more personalized content, AI-modified messaging based on a human created initial content.

What do you think will be the biggest trend for multichannel content?

Totally AI-generated content, which I think won't be very successful in the Pharma context

What will be the focus of multichannel content in your team in the next 12 months?

Streamlining and accelerating more segment-specific messaging.

The human behind the hero

What is your dream vacation destination?

Oh, there are just too many to mention! Right now I'd love to go to Japan, Argentina and the Lofoten Islands

Tell us about a good book you have read lately

A song by song biography about the late, great David Bowie called ''Ashes to Ashes: The Songs of David Bowie, 1976-2016" A must read for any fan!

What do you like to do when you´re not creating content?

Play and listen to good music. Sometimes I listen to music WHILE creating content... which totally works!
