My name is Ramon Sanmartí and I´m a Regional Sales Force Effectiveness Manager at Ferrer with over a decade of experience. My role consists of evaluating and implementing digital transformation strategies, as well as introducing tools and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of sales teams.

What swayed you to choose our product?

Throughout the onboarding phase of using the platform, it was easy to communicate with Shaman stakeholders and successfully roll out a pilot in two of our Affiliates. In addition, I quickly perceived that Shaman are not only selling a tool, they also deeply understand how customer-facing roles operate.

How have our products and services improved your workflow or made your job easier?

Shaman has significantly reduced the time-to-market of approved marketing content. To be more specific, with Shaman we have reduced the number of interactions with stakeholders before the content is ready to be shown to the customer. We simply skip the agency communication and therefore the number of emails or phone calls to solve little issues or to remind them of some crucial step is cleared. We are now completely autonomous.

Shaman has also reduced costs, as we no longer need an agency for the programming and uploading of content into our CRM system.

How much cost did you save using Shaman? (in%)

About 50% (but it depends on the number of materials that the Affiliate yearly creates)

Could you tell us how you managed the content creation and upload to Veeva Vault process before you started using Shaman? What was the biggest difference you noticed when you started using Shaman?

Content creation and the content upload to Veeva Vault process was previously done by a content agency. Since we started using Shaman, we have been able to complete the process in-house, dramatically reducing time-to-market and saving money.

What do you like most about Shaman?

It is user-friendly and you can have materials ready for the customer in just one afternoon.

Could you share a handy tip with us from your experience using Shaman?

The slide naming functionality in the Shaman CLM builder allows you to efficiently indicate naming patterns for slides, saving you time when the presentation is created.

What is your favorite feature for CLMs and why?

To group several slides in different areas so that they can seem under the same block when sharing them with the customers.

What would be your top 5 do´s when it comes to omnichannel marketing?

Top 5 Do's:

  • Create integrated content

  • It is preferable to create a larger quantity of different “bitesize” content materials with less information, than just 1-2 extra large content materials overloaded with information

  • More images and less words

  • Use an easily readable font size when creating CLMs

  • Thoroughly debrief the field force to ensure they are confident using the content created

And one more “do”, but arguably the most important:

  • Always create content based on the customer and/or field force needs

Could you tell us about a challenge that you were able to overcome using the features in Shaman?

Before using Shaman, we struggled to find an efficient and cohesive process for naming slides in a presentation. But now with the automatic naming of the slides in Shaman, we can base the naming taxonomy on a pre-introduced pattern which ensures consistency in our CRM content reporting.

As a top user, you must have met our support team by now. How has your experience been contacting them since you started using Shaman?

They are always a supportive and resolutive team. You can count on them for sure!
